Very nice Tony. Did you apply any filters or is it unprocessed?

IC 1805 and 1848 with D60

Nice image Johannes. Raising the black point for green
then lowering the white level for RGB does bring out a lot
more detail. A noise reducing filter followed by a few
light iterations of adaptive Richardson-Lucy cleans up the
stars and background. This version has more contrast.

You unguided M42 does show the possibilities. Very good
first attempt at M42.

M81 with C14

Wonderful image Ron. I would like to try M81 with my C14
if the clouds ever clear.

Very very nice Yu. A few iterations of a mild restoration
can bring out even more detail.

My first try with LRGB...

Posted By Mike Unsold

Very good first try Andrew. M27 has nice detail and you also
captured some star colors.

The red channel is not aligned correctly with the green
and blue channels. This appears as a bright red crescent
above bright stars. If you spilt the image into RGB
components and align them the RGB combination image should
be corrected.

The star of the stars and sharpness of M27 can be improved
by subtracting and edge image from the realigned image.

The image would look as shown below.

Nice work Ron.

How do you like the Optec Widefield f/5 reducer with the C14? I am thinking about buying one to use with my C14
and D60.
