I was looking at a website earlier specializing in lunar imaging. She had a big ol' AP that was f/28.
f/28? Do scopes like this have to be specially made or is there a gizmo that would be a counterpart to a focal reducer?

I'm now the second person here to recently get an FS102, and I'm just stunned by the workmanship Tak puts into these things. The previous owner took meticulous care of it and it looks brand new. He also knew how to pack a scope -- it took the better part of an hour to uncover it!
Now just waiting on the dovetail so I can stare at it while waiting for the clouds to go away...

Going to see them here in Chicago tomorrow night. As usual their new album ("Bananas") is doing great overseas and virtually ignored in the USA, which is a shame because to me it's their best in more than 2 decades. Highly recommended if you like hard rock in the least.

I'm not sure which I like more, the scope or the mount. I just got an FS102 and had to put it on an old Astroview. Just looks wrong. When I get a chance I'll take a picture.
