Year 2006: Haitian national Kesler Dufrene is jailed for 5 years for burglery as a twice convicted felon and nearly a dozen arrests. Because of his crimes, an immigration judge orders Dufrene deported back to Haiti.

2010: Obama orders tempory halt to deportations to Haiti.

October 2010: Dufrene is realeased from custody because of above Obama order, and a 2001 Supreme Court ruling.

January 2011: Dufrene murders a 15-year-old girl and two others.

"ICE did not say how many convicted criminals like Dufrene were put back on the streets during the moratorium."

The Supreme Court ruling was made during the Bush administraion. Obviously, the Dark Nine and W should be co-indicted with Obama for "failure to predict future murders."

(Like the Piranha Brothers, I use sarcasm.)

Saying that ANY president is directly responsible for a street crime is ridiculous. You might just as well blame Baby Doc, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Ted Kennedy, or Mother Teresa.

Care to weigh in on this:

Do we have an obligation to pay for the care of these patients self-inflicted injuries?

Or should we consider their injuries the "punishment" they haven't (yet) received for violating the law?

Socialized medicine is a system in which the government literally owns the system--it owns the hospitals and clinics, hires and directly pays the medical workers and makes all decisions on care. None of this applies to this country. For example, nearly all of our health care decisions are freely made by patients and their doctors.

Let's go further. Karl Marx predicted that capitalism would give way naturally to socialism, which would then give way to true communism in which the workers controlled the system. No such institution has yet been seen. Even true socialism is rare--the Soviet Union was a dictatorship run under the pseudonym of socialism.

Why do we keep screaming about socialism? We are as far from it as any nation on earth.

Attack.

Wow - maybe we should arrest them after they hit

I've searched eight major news media and can't find another reference to this story.
Are you suggesting that the U.S. knows about this alleged plot and will do nothing?

After birth abortion

"Parents should be allowed to have their newborn babies killed because they are "morally irrelevant" and ending their lives is no different to abortion, a group of medical ethicists linked to Oxford University has argued...they argued it was "not possible to damage a newborn by preventing her [sic] from developing the potentiality to become a person in the morally relevant sense"."

"Ethicists" my a**. This group itself is a prime argument for post-birth abortion.
If they are not using a sort of reverse psychology and arguing against abortion, then they simply condoning murder by in effect saying that terminating life at any age has no moral relevance.

Tom Johnson - Celestron founder - RIP

Posted By Robert Schmall

Back in '80 I was the ad guy at Astronomy magazine. I visited Celestron on a western swing and Tom Johnson took me out to lunch--flying to a restaurant on Catalina Island for $9 hamburgers. It was the only time I met him and I was impressed by his energy and imagination. He, Alan Hale and the other folks at Celestron were a classy group, and, having met the management at Meade, I have been a Celestron man ever since.
