Guess The Political Party

Felony voter fraud means a night to honor a cause celebre for D's.

(CIN) — A Hamilton County poll worker who has been held up nationally as an example of voter fraud took the stage at a local voting rights rally – outraging Republicans and dismaying even top local Democrats.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, keynote speaker at Thursday’s rally to kick-off the campaign for an Ohio Voters’ Bill of Rights Ohio Constitutional amendment, even hugged Melowese Richardson.

Richardson, a Democrat, was convicted of voter fraud after using her position as poll worker to vote more than once in the 2012 presidential election. She got a five year prison term, but was released earlier this month after local Democratic activists pressed for a fairer term.

Mooch: "It's Very Rare That I Travel Outside U.S."

Nope, she can't beat Barry when it comes to BS:

“And I want to make sure my daughters are getting the same chances as men. I don’t want them paid less for doing the same job as some guy is doing. When they have children, I want to make sure that they’re not having to quit their jobs or, you know, in some other fashion be hampered because we don’t have the kinds of policies in this country that support them.”

What a whopper teller. Single women with college degrees make more than their male counterparts. But Obama never let the truth stop him from spewing divisiveness. Well, maybe in his world there is some truth, because women in his administration are paid less than their male counterparts.

He was probably just researching material for his child porn bill. Uh huh.

State Rep. Keith Farnham stepped down from representing Elgin, a city about 35 miles northwest of Chicago, days after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided his home and his state office in Springfield.

Items that were seized included the laptop computer Farnham used on the House floor, The Associated Press reported.

The search warrant sought material that “in any format and medium concerning minors visually depicted while engaged in sexually explicit conduct,” AP reported.

A New Kind of Surge

What is the accomplishment here? I mean, if you believe the number enrollment number that exactly met their goal of 7 million within a half percent.

Wasn't Obama's goal to get coverage for the 45 million uninsured? Which is now 48 million? So now we have 24% of these 7M, or 1.7M, as previously uninsured, so they've reduced the uninsured pool by 1.7/48 = 3.5%. At a cost of $1.8 trillion dollars (probably much more), over $1M per enrollee. and anywhere up to 2 million lost full-time jobs. How is any of that an accomplishment to be proud of in the real world? In the Alynskiite world, sure, it makes perfect sense.

This AP report in WaPo lists six big city mayors under public corruption charges. Here is the entire article. Six corrupt leaders overseeing the lives of millions of people and billions of dollars. Funny thing is, you'll never know what political party they are in. Never mentioned. Hush-hush. Need to know. Hint: they are all in the same party.

Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon is facing public corruption charges after prosecutors said he solicited $48,000 in cash, airline tickets, a hotel room and the use of a luxury apartment as bribes from undercover FBI agents posing as developers. Cannon is the latest mayor of a large city to face a scandal in recent years. Here is a look at some others:

— Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is awaiting sentencing after being found guilty in February of 20 counts of accepting bribes and other corruption charges for taking money to help business owners get millions of dollars in city work, including in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

— Former Trenton, N.J., Mayor Tony Mack was convicted in February of taking money in exchange for getting approval in 2012 to develop a downtown parking garage that only existed in a federal sting. He is awaiting sentencing. He is one of a long list of New Jersey mayors to face corruption charges since 2000, including the leaders of Newark, Camden, Paterson, Perth Amboy, Hoboken, Passaic, Asbury Park, Orange and Hamilton.

— Former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner resigned last August after a number of sexual harassment allegations. He pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery in October and was sentenced to three months of home confinement in December.

— Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is serving 28 years in prison after being convicted in October of extortion, bribery, conspiracy and other crimes. In October 2008, Kilpatrick spent 99 days in jail for his part in a sex-and-text scandal.

— Former Birmingham, Ala., Mayor Larry Langford took $235,000 in cash, loans and gifts while he was president of the Jefferson County Commission in the early- and mid-2000s. He was convicted of 60 counts in October 2009 and is serving 15 years in prison.

It could have been a good April Fools gag, given the filing date and that she was awarded the “Cesar Chavez Champions of Change Award” for her work in immigration. But sadly, the joke is on the law-abiding citizens and taxpayers.

Bonnie M. Youn, who Obama’s White House touts on its website as “a recognized Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community leader in Georgia,” was indicted on three criminal charge counts in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia Atlanta Division on April 1, according to publicly filed court documents.

The first indictment count alleges Youn committed perjury with regard to an alien illegally in the United States. The second indictment count alleges that Youn violated a federal immigration law that prohibits bringing illegal aliens into the United States and harboring them, alleging she did so “for the purpose of commercial advantage and private financial gain.” The third indictment count alleges Youn illegally tampered with witness testimony, specifically alleging she influenced the illegal alien—whose identity is kept anonymous in the indictment—to provide false information about employment in the United States to federal agents.
