More No from the Party of No

Posted By Fred Dase

This time they got it right. Removing those who would rather see America fail.

Only the Wing Nuts will have a problem with this.
Rational thinking people know you have to compromise whenever there's a group decision.
True to form the Wing Nuts have already started to crucify Bohner.

When is a Plan NOT a Plan ?

Posted By Fred Dase

The answer is easy. When the GOP proposes one.

House Republican leaders on Monday called for $2.2 trillion in new deficit reductions over 10 years.
When counting deficit reductions enacted last year, anticipated savings from winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and some
interest savings, the package would amount to $4.6 trillion in reductions over a decade, according to House Republicans.

The offer made the following proposals to achieve $2.2 trillion in new deficit reductions over 10 years:

* $800 billion in new revenue through tax reform;

* unspecified healthcare program savings of $600 billion;

* other savings from changes to unspecified mandatory spending programs of $300 billion;

* tying cost-of-living increases for federal benefit programs to the Consumer Price Index to get savings of $200 billion;

* and further unspecified savings to domestic spending programs of $300 billion.

You would think they would have learned from Romney.
For a plan to BE a plan there is this little nit-picking thing called details that rational thinking people need to make a decision.
I'm sure this "Plan" will be highly touted by the Wing Nuts. They believe anything to talking heads tell them.

Just another example of the alternate reality the far right live in.

Re: Iraq

billy, The last 500 soldiers left Iraq on the morning of December 18, 2011. That's probably why you have not heard anything lately.
We do still have an Embassy there and a few Consulates so there are still a few thousand Americans there.

More Projection from the Right

"The former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party was sentenced to four years of probation and 300 hours of community service for voter fraud."

It seems 90% (my own estimate) of the people convicted of voter fraud are from the right.
That's why it's called projection 8O

Diagonals

Posted By Fred Dase

A prisim diagonal has 3 mirrors inside it to flip the image to correct (naked eye) view. A mirror diagonal has a single mirror that will flip the image so what you see on the star chart is not how it looks in the eyepiece.
When using a prisim diagonal you will experience some light lose due to the bending by the additional mirrors. Here is a site that explains it better than I can.
