is a legitimate question. Federal laws, whether they be Canadian or
American, do have a bearing on how you treat the confidentiality of data.
Your response implies that you don't care one way or the other, which
somewhat undermines what your privacy policy states.

MOST users never saw the HOME page on the old site - you did because you were looking for it - MOST users enter to the Classifieds or FORUMS by a WIDE margin.
You have better visibility now - that is why we did it that way. Ads are where the action is.

My stats on the "OLD" site showed that nearly ALL users never went to the SPONSOR - HOME - page - they went directly to the classifieds and forums

That would make sense since it was a competed couple minute project.
WWII was a four year event - I think.
