Here is a picture of M16 I took on Friday night with a FSQ-106 at F8 and a Canon 10D. It was 17-5min exposures at ISO 800. 50% size and cropped.

Veil (again)

Here is a pic of the Veil taken with a FSQ-106 at F8 this time insted of F5. It is 30-5 min exposures with a 10D at ISO800.

Mars image from Nikon 5000

This is an image from 8/5

I used a Nikon 5000 at 4x zoom on a 12"LX200. It was 67 images at ISO 100 stacked and processed in Images Plus.

New Mars with CP5000

Actually this is from last week I just had time to process it. Its 36 of the best images from 200. I used a CP5000 with a William Optics 24mm eyepiece adapter and a 2x barlow. This was attached to a 12"LX200. I was very pleased with the results.

Latest Mars CP5000

This is my latest Mars from the 15th. I used a Nikon 5000 with a WO 24 mm eyepiece and 2x barlow and stacked 56 of 400 images taken all done in IP.

M27 with 10D

Here is my first attempt with cooling a Canon 10D. The cooler brought the temp down to 9.5C from 28C so it did help. This was 18-3min images at ISO 1600 throught a 12" LX200 at 6.3 with guiding done with an STV.

Very little processing was done to this image, and its at 100%

Re-Processed M27

Here is an image I re-processed from a few weeks back. This was taken with a Canon 10D and a 12"LX200 at F6.3.

I used a custom camera cooler that brought the ambient temp down from 25C to 9.5C so it seem to help the noise.

It is 19-3min images at ISO 1600 and dark frame subtracted. It was processed in Images Plus and Photoshop.

New M33

This is a pic I took last Thursday night. Its 30-5min images at ISO 800 using a Canon 10D and a FSQ-106 @F8. It was processed in Images Plus and Photoshop. The images is 50% size.

M31 Andromeda

Here is a 2-part Mosaic of M31 I took at the beginning of this month. It was taken with a Canon 10D and an FSQ-106 at F5. The exposures were 30-5min at ISO 800 of each part. Then they were combined and processed in Images Plus and Photoshop.

It was bin 3x so the actual image is very large.

Helix Nebula

Here is a picture of the Helix Nebula taken with a Canon 10D and FSQ-106 at F8. It was 30-5min exposures at an ISO of 1600. 6 averaged dark frames were also used. All were processed using Images Plus and Photoshop6.

Although low in the southern sky I was pleased with the results. It is actually at its highest point when I took these images.
