OK... So I bought a scope on AM for $125.00 on April 25th and I received a UPS Quantum View email the next day with a tracking number stating that delivery will be May 4th 2009... After NOT receiving the package I tried to contact the seller. After a couple days the seller responded, "I left the package for UPS... I was out of town... My neighbor was checking my mail and thought the package was mine.... The package is going out today.... There was no pickup on the weekend so the package will go out Monday... (place you excuse here....)" He had said them all....

To date there is NO movement on the tracking number that was provided, and I noticed someone else just left the seller a negative comment stating the seller ripped him off for $550.00... The seller had 31 positives up until recent...

PayPal said my claim was approved but there is no money in this persons account, and I am SOL...

So.... Do I leave this guy a negative calling him out or what?

Is there a way to change a feedback comment? I do not want to simply delete, and the seller deserves to be recognized for his efforts. However the last line I didn't noticed was copied with the rest of my verbiage when I did a copy - paste... :S

Why do some people just edit an ad with "sold" instead of actually flagging it sold and taken it off the classifeds ...

Heck there is one in the solar that a guy posted another ad just to say the first one was sold... ohh well...

Has anyone here considered using the ratings for items that they end up not purchasing? I have had numerous people not respond to an ad that I have inquired about, or have been VERY lite on communication only to respond days later to a previous email, and not address question(s) in my latter inquiries...

I have often thought of using the rating system to identify users that if they finally end up responding, I would simply tell them that I am no longer interested... I guess that is another pet peeve of mine...

It was quickly pulled without warning or time to correct what I did wrong.

Astromart is a great site... At first I was floored by the fact that you can see people's real names, but now I think its great. There is no hiding behind a handle. Now as far as the $12 it cost me to register, I have NO problems with that. Heck, I saved way more than that on my first purchase!!

I get an email stating that I have a message on Astromart,  but when I go to my inbox,  I have nothing new.  I have responded via the email and when the other person responds,  I still get nothing on Astromart.

I would contact your credit card company and file a dispute.

I use pirate ship...  much cheaper than going through UPS or USPS.  it's a third party that ships via UPS or USPS.  you can Google pirate ship calculator and it's very accurate.  not like trying to get a calculation from UPS and finding out that it is way off.
