Far be it from me to defend Rich (which I’m not) but there actually are pro-hamas voices at universities, and probably more than you think. We also all may be shocked that the people of Dearborn may well send Rashida Tliab back to congress next year.

Most of them just hate Biden\Demonrats (as my insane MI classmates like to call them). The only strategy the GOP has used for 7 years is to try and make Biden look worse than Trump. That ANYONE could think Biden is more corrupt or dishonest than Trump is a testiment to how effective they have been - Goebbels would be impressed.

Personally, I hope Rashida Tlaib is not reelected, but I don't live in that district and like you said it is mostly middle eastern and very religious with both Chaldean and Islamic communities with recent immigrants and first, second, and third generation Americans.
I live in the district next door and if you ever find yourself in Detroit I can steer you to a few really good middle eastern/Mediterranean restaurants. Take a drive down W. Warren Ave. in Dearborn and you'll see you aren't in Kansas anymore.
Ike's in Auburn Hills - it's the bomb. Turned me on to fresh Kibbeh nayeh. Amazing stuff. I'm blessed to have some Lebanese relatives in my family there.
