Safe Religion, is that like safe-sex?

Posted By Doug Matulis

Well, banned for a week or so, unexpectedly allowed to return and the whole landscape has changed. Not sure what is safe anymore. I assume if I post something like 'homosexuality is sin according to the bible', you all have to agree with me now! wink

On the positive side, the discussions should be more productive and focused now that the A/a's can't play in this sandbox. Of course the sand is always nicer looking in your neighbors sandbox! 8)

Well I am feeling neutered, what to talk about.... :S

The 70 avowed socialists in Congress

Posted By Doug Matulis

If you live in these districts, these are the most dangerous people in congress and enemies of the state, your freedom, and your family, your way of life. These folks must be voted out to preserve the nation and prevent its collapse.

The Russians are days away from starting Iran's Bushehr reactor. Shouldn't Isreal bomb the thing before it goes on-line?

Global Warming is Real...

Posted By Doug Matulis

...Its just not caused by man's activities. Why? because scientists says the Wooly Mammoths died out due to global warming killing off the grasses and that all starved. Now we can stop the debate, kill cap n trade legislation and let nature run its cyclical course.

I would suggest we all ignore the hate monger's posts. He is a total waste of time, unless you like being called

think in the head

and on an on and on.

He degrades every discussion he jumps into. Sometimes ignoring the child having the tantrum is enough to get him to stop the childish bahavior and they will walk away.

Abortions should only be performed if a normal delivery will result in the mothers death and a C-Secion procedure can't be performed. Logical dictates that life comes from life and that life begins at conception when the living egg meets the living sperm. God 'knits' the child in the womb. A woman can choose anything she wants, just not killing the life in the womb. Its a baby, not a tissue mass. It does not matter how the egg is fertilized, it is still human life, a baby.

If we are not going to have the laws changed to ban abortions, then a new law should be written that mandates hi-res ultrasound images be shown to the would be baby killing mother so she can at least see the hands, feet, and face of the person whose life she is choosing to terminate.

Further, all states should have a parental notification law before a minor can have an abortion.

At least the number of abortions would drop dramatically and the profit motive would taken away.
