Celestron 4" refractor on Super Polaris mount

My 4-inch Celestron refractor is mounted onto the SP mount with two rings which screw onto the SP equatorial head and clamp around the tube. The tops of those rings are flat and have 1/4"x20 threaded holes. Can anyone tell me if there was an accessory plate which mounted between those two rings to hold something like a camera mount or camera on top of the OTA?

stepper motors for a Dob?

A friend of mine has rebuilt an 18-inch Dob and would like to add stepper motors to it. Does anyone have any experience in doing this?

CAVE: Bristol 447 clock drive motor

I am looking for a replacement motor for the Bristol 447 clock drive motor on my CAVE 12.5-in reflector (circa 1957)--I Googled it and an article says Cramer makes a replacement for this Bristol motor, but when I telephoned them last week I learned that replacement motor is no longer being manufactured. Any suggestions?

Edmund Scientific 12 1/2" F6 Mirror

I checked my 1962 Edmund Scientific catalog and the only 12.5-inch mirror was parabolic. In my 1975 catalog the same is true -- however, the focal lengths are 100-inch. But the only spherical mirrors are 4.24-inch and 6-inch diameters.

I chased down this motor with Kramer, the company which took over Bristol Motors and the girl checked and said that it had been discontinued. I explained why I needed one, but she said after a search they could find no units in the building.

However, someone on Astro-mart advertised that they had some and I bought one from them. In New England, and the money was going to a non-profit. I'll look up that info. About two years ago as I recall.

It's a Bristol model 447, 1-rpm, with 1/8" shaft as I recall.

I am looking for the info on the club which was selling some of the Bristol motors (new old stock) in New Jersey in 2016.
The little Boston gear on the shaft is difficult to find. I am looking for a couple of those for two Astrolas I have.

6" f15 on a G11 mount?

Can anyone advise if a Losmandy G11 mount will handle the torque of the long tube 6" f15 OTA D & G Optical refractor. I know the weight is fine but not sure what the long tube will do to the mount when slewing.
