[COLOR="Navy"]The Antique Telescope Society's 24th Annual Convention[/COLOR]

October 9 through October 12, 2015, Lick Observatory at Mt. Hamilton.


Membership in the Antique Telescope Society is not required - Non-Members can attend as guests of the ATS

The program includes an in-depth tour of historic Lick Observatory with its 36-inch Clark Telescope, and Optical and Mechanical Shops. Tours of both Ricard Observatory in Santa Clara, and Chabot Observatory in Oakland, are also included; a Champagne Reception on Friday evening; Saturday and Sunday paper sessions and members' displays of their own collections; and the traditional banquet on Saturday evening. Every effort will be made to observe at Lick (36-inch Clark), and Chabot Observatory (20-inch Brashear/Warner & Swasey, 8-inch Alvan Clark) weather and scheduling permitting.
