The lenses in cells coming to us with a removable push pull flange in woodbox. Thats how we sell it as singls for ATM.

If you buy our CNC Tube, which is perfectly maschined, the lens sc rews in and is dead on forever , just like Zeiss did it with all here APQ and AS Lenses

clear skies

New Carbon Fiber Tube 152

Posted By Markus Ludes

Hi Steve

Carbonfiber tubes is a bit magic name like Fluorite. It looks nice and sounds nice. By using carbonfiber you safe very little weight and loose in trade again a bit balansing.

thats all of the magic.

From fit and finish and used technics of build quality I still recomment very much our CNC tubes, the carbon fiber does not reach that maschining level quality

BUT, I offer it, because some customers likes it and the customer is the king

best wishes

Markus What Do You Think??

Posted By Markus Ludes

I am still waiting to get this scope.

I bought several of the original scopes, they have had superlative good polished quality achromats , but cell problems, so optics always showed a bit coma or astigmatism from missalignment. I stopped selling that scopes and told to the maker , hey i send you a piccostar over ( artitical star) and told them whenever they are ready to send me that scope with perfect symmetrie , I will start selling them again.
Its 2 years ago . 2 month ago they contacted me and asked me if I want to sell here scopes. I told them, I was here first dealer and told them, I waiting since 2 years for here improved product. They checked that and found yes , i am right and they just forgot me :-)

Now TS use a improved mechanics and if the optic maker got that optics really fixed , than its a superb product. But consider 1 thing , its a 4"F/7 achromat, which cost close the money of the Synta/Orion 4"F/9 ED Apo and if you compare that both, then the 4" ED Apo will be always the better buy with no question.

High end achromats simply do not sell well anylonger, we have the biggest problems here in germany to sell the Stellarvue achromats , because for same money you get really good chinese ED Apo's and the ED-Apo's show the better image due better colorcorrection

Excellence from APM!!

Hi Michael

sorry for that problem and delay of the second dew shield. Usual such thing shall not, cannot happens, excapt my employe make a small mistake and do not look one tubering just behind the retracted dew shield for transport safety.
Also a maschine shop like my subcontractor should supply a sparepart faster , but they are maschine shops and do not have a daily enduser business to know what kind of support we like to provide

thanks for the kind words and enjoy your scope.
