Hi Jim

we continue to make this Apo's as long as w ehave buyers and it looks very good so far.

We self rename them now into APM Apo, but let stay on the logo : lens design by TMB-Optical, to make it clear who is making them and who designed the lenses

what other companys doing with here chinese and taiwanese modells is their business

hope this answere your question and hope its ok for you and all others

Color corection vs. operating temperature

Hi Dan

if the scope in mind is cooled down it shows always the same colorcorrection, no matter which temperature it was stabilized

New thread, not a continuation of the old.

Floyd and others,

I read this morning whats going on at the Burgess group. Yesterday I was contacted by Burgess via email with unbelievable things.I replied to him with the adresse of my US lawer , better to talk to him. Today I see he use his forum ( and at same time fully censor my answeres ) to spread liars.

Regards the TMB statement , I have prooven this already as false and incorrect to several people include the vendor with Billing from TMB to me, showing clearly that TMB got paid cash.

Regards Burgess statement of crime against customs, the lawers will take this over now, its enough.

We state here very clear: APM do not steel and APM do not make any Tax or other crime.

Germany is a country with 200% tax controle , for any cent we pay to somebody we must show to customscontrole the importinvoice and if there is only 1 $ diffrence we get problems.

Thomas Back is dead and I refuse to post on public issues with him, which are privat business and not for public.

But I post 1 thing here : I have a email from Thomas Back which he send me when he was ill and many times in Hospital.

In this email Thomas Back told me that Burgess does not pay him his commision for anything he designed for him , only Astronomics pay him his money he need for the hospital. Again its a email send from Thomas Back to me.

think about it what you want

thanks

80/480 and 80/600 LOMO triplets to be available ag

Posted By Markus Ludes

The LOMO lens use OK-4 ED from LZOS company. LZOS increased the prices for here glas very much for LOMO and the weak Rubel/$Ratio was another reason for increaing the prices and inflation in Russia. The new final price LOMO gave me last year was to high in my opinion so I saw no chance for future sales against cheap chinese and taiwanese competition.

Well, but to many people still asking for the LOMO apos, so I decited against the trent and do the same as I did with the TMB 100/800 apo when it was discontinued and people started to ask again for it.

I agreed with new higher LOMO prices and we do for 2008 a new production.

When we did this with the TMB 100/800 and the lenses became available , nobody wanted them anymore. if the same will happen with the LOMO , then I will simply discontinue them again.

At APM we have the power and resources to bring back discontinued products if the market agree on new prices.

And yes, the LOMO lenses will be the same design and same quality as before.

Another reason for me to bring them back is that I stock 70 pc tubes without opttics , to get this stock sold I need lenses

so welcome back LOMO Super Apo

thanks
