Looks like Herb and Roland never tried it, otherwise here answeres would be diffrent.

The Mewlon 300 looks big, its big, but its compact. I use it at bhighest power on a Tak NJP Mount where its loadet rock solid, more solid then you need. The CGE-Pro Mount will hold the Mewlon 300 very well, even for imaging.

the Cylinder is on the right side, but you can always easy switch, the focuser is attached by 3 set screws, open them , you can rotate the focuser as you want :-)

no Issues, that dealer who post that, does not know what a wedge does.

A Herschelwedge of any manufacturer can be used in any refractor telescope with out any risc
