New " better" chinese achromats from APM at Novemb

Posted By Markus Ludes

Hi All,

so far we know a lot of chinese achromats. Most known today are :
- Skywatcher
- Burgess
- Antares
- TS-Germany

the new good modells are made by Jinghua in China, also doing scopes for Meade.

the big, old powerfull company Bresser, bought by Meade some years ago, but still working as a special department under Meade took now advantage of that new scopes with his own improvement requirements.

Bresser/Meade have a superb service center here in Germany at Meade Europe location.

We the dealers in germany have the big advantage to get this superb service free for the items we buy from Bresser/Meade

Bresser introduce now with a nice color catalogue the new line of achromatical telescopes with improvements, which are sold by some other named companys already as Semi-Apos, for whatever reason, where they are still achromats, but of good quality.

The Modells:
- Achromat D=152 mm f/760 mm with giant 4" focuser for zero vigneting , nice strong equatorial mount, strong stainless steel metaltripod, set of eyepieces, illuminated finder 8 x 50 . all togher US $ 850 ex Germany from APM

- Achromat D=127 mm f/1200 mm with giant 3" focuser for zero vigneting , nice strong equatorial mount, strong stainless steel metaltripod, set of eyepieces, illuminated finder 8 x 50 . all togher US $ 650 ex Germany from APM

- Achromat D=127 mm f/635 mm with giant 3" focuser for zero vigneting , nice strong equatorial mount, strong stainless steel metaltripod, set of eyepieces, illuminated finder 8 x 50 . all togher US $ 680 ex Germany from APM

thats scopes getting delivered in November and we plan to offer them for the US market, since we have to deal in claim cases not with China, but with one of the best service places in Europe and thats make our live very comfortable

Images of the new scopes can be found on our webside under BRESSER

have fun

new 80 mm TMB's are coming soon

Posted By Markus Ludes

Hello my friends,

got a bit time to post again :-), finaly.

Just a little info about our next project. Those who cannot or do not want effort our more expensive CNC and Carbon fiber tube with 2" Starlight focusers , we manufactoring with the help of William Optics a new less expensive great looking/working tube for our triplet TMB Super Apo Lenses 80 mm F/6. The tube will be very similar to the William Fluorid-FPL53 versions with dual speed focuser and case, but with metal knife edge baffles inside.
The price range will be due the superb and maybe best ever made 80 mm Apo Optics between the TMB 80 mm CNC OTA and Chinese so called douplet Fluorid Apo's.A bit above $ 1,000

just wait around 1 month longer and you see the nicest tube with the worldbest 80 mm apo for acceptable price :-)

Possible new Petzval F/5 Apos from APM/TMB/LZOS

Posted By Markus Ludes

Hello all,

here we have the disccussion of fast apo's running, so I think my news after my success trip to Russia should be welcome very much.

Tele Vue Recently introduced here nice imaging system Apo's 60 mm, 101 mm and 127 mm, the last 2 are Petzval Apos with new larger correctors for the more and more coming large CCD Cameras.

Doing very fast apo's is a critical job to the opticians, assemblers etc.. and still require fieldflattners and due the deep radi of curvative where glas in center has much more thickness then on edge cool down time becomes a critical issue.

Tele Vue with here NP system and Takahashi with here FSQ system proofed the perfect working of Petzval Systems. Non of both doing larger systems , but the makret is definitly there for large fast imaging apo systems.

With our great Optical Production resource LZOS in Moscow and our supertalented optical Designer TMB we are happy to have a team who can make your dream thruth. The neccassary high quality mechanical tubes we will do in germany with our super talented artist Matthias.

So our Plan for 2007/2008 is to introduce 3 new modells of fast imaging system apos , optimised for the larrger CCD Cameras.

We are happy to talk here we you first which modells could be the most welcome once.

From our point of view, all shall be transportable , so our Ideas are

- 160 mm F/5 with 60 mm diffraction limited image circle
- 200 mm F/5 with 60 mm diffraction limited image circle
- 240 mm F/5 with 60 mm diffraction limited image circle

each of such telescope will be equipped as standart with the new Starlight Instruments Motofocuse with PC control Boxes and representing the state of the art of Apo Production for CCD Imaging.

If you are a serious imager and you have serious wishes we shall consider in such new production, your Ideas are more then welcome

many thanks

LW Modell Deluxe , now available :-)

Posted By Markus Ludes

a nice customer from Canada pushed us a bit to make a special TMB 105 for him , see the images.

We use the standart TMB 105 LW and add nice CNC Tuberings and a quick removable handle and get what the image show. I like it a lot and it cost only $ 100 upgrate against the standart version

Tell me how you like it , this way can be done for any LW Modell now

thanks for your feedback
