Focus for film

Jay,
You may also check out this site on home-made knife edge focusers.

( Click the foward and backward arrows of this link for various focusing methods )

I purchased a junk matching camera body from a local camera shop for $10, tore out the shutter and cut a hole in the back and glued on an old .965 diagonal, and now have a poor mans stiletto focuser.

Info on hard-to-obtain shipping boxes

Posted By Bob Chester

I generally make my own boxes. Your local picture framer should have 40x60 sheets of cardboard for sale or empty glass boxes that they just throw away. Plumbers might have empty water heater boxes and Sears might have empty refrigerator boxes that they would be happy to give you.

Casady vs AP saddle

Dave,
I have not compared the two saddles but own the AP and can tell you that the Losmandy plates do tip into it also.
