Seems like a fairly consistent issue where the screen does not update when saving a post, I suspect it is browser related as not everyone has the issue. I currently use MS Edge and it doesnt happen with it. When you save a post it would probably be a good idea to refresh your screen as you will likely find that it was already saved and resubmitting it just creates multiple copies. I have seen it with another browser in the past myself....though I dont recall which one.
I have not submitted any articles so I cant offer any advice in that regard.......
