I feel the love here!

Posted By John Kuhl

I had a classic 12" LX200 that I used for years and years without a single problem. However after one look through my friends new 12.5" Starmaster. Well lets just say, that was the last time I used that scope. It was sold soon after.

Should I sell my AP Traveler and buy a SV 105" Apo?

Posted By John Kuhl

You have got to be kidding? You can always get a 4" scope, but good luck getting another Traveler. I would never think about it, much less do it.

Let's face it, mass production or excellence, your choice!

Floyd you are a 100% right. I have to laugh when someone wants to know if there cheap, mass produced scope is going to be as good as a quality hand built scope.

Who Already has Their Dream Scope?

Posted By John Kuhl

I am lucky enough to have two dream scopes. One is
a 20" Starmaster, the other is a 160 AP on a 900 mount.
However the scope I use more than all the other scopes I
own put together is my 14.5" Starmaster. This scope just
hits a sweet spot for me. Big enough to show me what I
want. Fast setup and take down, and doesn't take up to
much room. Oh and most important, the Zambuto optics
are as close to perfect as you can get.

PS, I also happen to have a wife who loves to
observe as much as I do. I am a very lucky guy.

I use the AP (Baader) tripod with my
G11. Works great, and the wood looks
wonderful.

What About This Objective Set?

For that price I bet they used 40 grit
sandpaper to polish it.
