birding with big cat scopes

Posted By ROBERT MARSHALL

I have a c5 spotter, does anyone use any bigger ones, and
is there any benefit to using a bigger one for terrestial
viewing, I read an article that said nothing compares to
the view from a mirror rather than a prism. thanks in
advance for any thoughts.

New focusers for ITE LABT100S

Posted By ROBERT MARSHALL

hello, does anyone know if you can buy a set of focusers
that the eps dont mowe when you focus. I believe these
are chinese border guard binos that ITE retrofits the
original 25 and40 x turrets with these cheap focusers.
I called them a while ago and emailed them but got no
response, most of you know how that goes, once they are
sold its tough gettin good service, thanks in advance
for any suggestions

thanks fellows for your input

Posted By ROBERT MARSHALL

like everyone else, I am looking for the best view.
most of my viewing is 500 to 1200 yards. have had
2 sets each of vixen 20x80, vixen bt80s, german
military 10x80 , and now the labt100s, which are pretty
good except for the focusers, I talked with bill also
mike and have a set of the 20x100 astronamy binos on order.
if they dont work I plan on trying a set of pentax pf80s
mounted together in a bracket. also have been considering
a set of the docter 40x widefields, they advertise a yard
more fov than the 30s and use the 12.5 90degree eyepieces.
I just havent talked with anyone who tried them or read
any reviews yet, I wish takahashi would make their 22x60
binos with interchangeable eps, that would be neat, thanks
again for any input, bob

focusers for my faulty ITE LABT100S. every time I change
eps I have to recolimate them, I am no expert on this and
wish someone could shed some light. my focusers rotate the
ep when focusing. I see oberwerk has non rotating focusers,
will they work on my binos, and can you buy them anywhere?
I did talk with a fella that installed jmi focusers on his.
does anyone have any suggestions, thanks in advance, blessings, bob
