This is an equal opportunity question posed on both sites: for a grab and go APO...which way does your wind blow?

The price difference is pretty substantial! If they were equal in cost, I would go TMB.

For binoviewing - what's required for both? Does the Tak Sky 90 need the q-extender adapter first? Can the TMB 80 be used without any adapters or power amplifiers?
