Larger Grab & Go Set-up

Initially I had some worries about this mount working with this scope (TMB). As some of you may know the original silver and white CNC scopes were very heavy for their aperture. My TMB 115 is well over 22 pounds and due to the 3 inch diameter 4 inch long extension you have to use with the diagonal these scopes tend to be tail heavy. I know this is not a mount forum but I figured there might be others who are looking for a good portable grab and go mount that can handle the kind of weight that comes with 5 and 6 inch type refractors. Well here it is and thus far it is working like a charm. See photo of the DM-6 with my scope. I can go from my 2x2 Powermate Televue barlow with a Nagler type 4 22mm using the Televue 2 inch diagonal to the TMB 4mm super monocentric with no Barlow and not even think about rebalancing. BTW I love my MRF finder and it fits perfectly.
R/S,
Dan
