Optical Tubes
TMB Optical designed for us highest quality real achromatic lenses, which we have been made by a APM subcontractor in Asia in extremly high quality. The Optics have a outstanding high quality spherical correction , one of the best super multicoatings on the market and a Zeiss/Takahahsi like cell with airgap front retaining ring to prevent pinching. The production of the mechanical parts are now beeing made in Germany, since no foreigner manufactor could deliver us the asked high quality. The tube and dew shield are white powder painted, the aluminum adapters are high quality black anadized. The tube use inside 3 sharp knife edge baffle. As focuser we use the William Optics Megrez focuser, as finderbracket we use a high quality 50 mm quick exchange style finderbracket include nice adapter 2"/1.25". Focuser and 1.25" adapter offering a brasscompression ring.
