This evening I had a chance to compare my TMB 100 f8 (Vixen tube - Feathertouch focuser) to my friends brand new William Optic 110 f6.5 triplet oiled ED by TEC. In a nut shell, the TMB was better. The WO had a little color that was absent in the 100 f8 and the images of Mars in the Yang scope were not as good. I was surprised but then again maybe not. Thomas and Markus...thanks.
