NGC3582 in Hubble Palette

This colorful nebula was captured with our remote observatory at Las Campanas in the Chilean Andes. 12" AP Mak-Cass on 1600 mount operated remotely by Howard here at AP over a period of 2 nights.

This image was cropped from the larger format and is reduced to 40% of the original resolution.

So now we need a name for it. Any ideas?

Beautiful image. I've never seen that one before.

The way you have it hung, I'm calling it the Cosmic Cajones.

I've been told that it looks better flipped. So here it is flipped.

Those prominence like features look like they are making a garden archway or arbor.
So how about the Archway Nebula or Arbor Nebula?
