Notification List Follow-up Question

Can anyone offer a "guesstimate" as to how many names might currently be on the AP notification list for a 130 mm Starfire refractor?
Also, how many of these telescopes are made per production run?

Thanks

I have no idea, however, I've been on the list since March 2000. I didn't get a good feeling about getting it anytime soon from AP (called to change my address). I think I heard that the Spring run would get the remaining waiters from 1999.

From that you can conclude at least 2 years.

Don't know. But I was told by my Canadian distributor that the chance of getting the 130 is better than the 155. I don't know whether that means the 130 has a shorter list or whether AP just makes more of them.

I've been on the Traveler, 130 and 155 list since summer 2000. From what I can tell, unless there is a significant downturn in the economy, figure 3 years minimum and 4 years or more for the popular models.

I got on the list for the 130 in May of 1998. I took delivery of the scope on August 30th, 2001. Therefore, the wait was three years and three months.
