Seems that a good number of Roland's work from the 80's is coming up for sale. These are good scopes. I am lucky enough to have two 6" F8 scopes from that era right now. Going to have to sell one sooner or later. Will be interesting to see if both sets of optics are the same. Have not had a chance to do that. I got the AP guide scope with one of them. That by itself is a great scope. Was really surprised by the optics. Seems to be an 80mm F8 scope with Vixen lens. I was tempted to buy the 5" and 4" scope that came up for sale recently. Sort of start my own AP museum :-) There is a Star ED on Ebay right now.

Do not sell, make a binocular scope with the pair. Can not think of the name but someone has and offers the eyepiece end prism assembly to make this work as a binocular setup.
