I mounted my C-11(22LB) on my GP mount, rated 15lb, and suprised, works very smooth, after carefull ballancing. I had to use over 25lb counter ballance. (regular exercising weights)
I'm not sure if it's good enough for photo, but for visual, works very smooth, on this light EQ mount.
SS2K is very accurate, it helps a lot, since light polution is very bad in my back-yard(street light beaming down), also I'm in the midle of a city, next to a high-way. Forget star hoping here.

Wow, that's quite a load, but having owned that mount and drive system, I can believe it will be fine for visual use.

I used to have a Vixen Super Polaris mount upon which I mounted a mid-80's Astrophysics 6" f/8 refractor. It creaked and groaned a bit but it worked .
