I just bought an 8" Nexstar Evolution to use for outreach event, and this thing is a dream! Lightweight, EASY to set up, and the IOS software, connected via my iPad, is amazing! I have not field tested it yet, but this is my first impression having set it up for testing inside.

Everything about it is great, except the control software for IOS is almost totally unusable when manually moving the scope. It is very frustrating and makes you want to use a hand controller. That is really a shame, because I thought the SkyPortal app was very nice. Hope they work the WiFi/manual slewing issues out.
