CM-1100 Set-ups?

I recently purchased a CM-1100 from Celestron. They recommended a 2" Axiom 40mm eyepiece with a 2" diagonal for the set-up. Does anyone have any experience with this set-up? Is the Axiom eyepiece worth the $150 premium over a Plossl eyepiece?

I'd suggest a Pentax 40mm SMC XL for about $235 instead of the axiom. I had the University Optics 40mm Konig, which is very similar to the 40mm Axiom I believe, and I swapped it for the Pentax. The Pentax has a slightly smaller true field, but performance is much better - sharp almost to the edge.
