Thank Goodness For AstroMart

Just for the heck of it, try posting something critical of Burgess Optical on the YAHOO Burgess Optical site. It seems that the moderator is not keen on anyone questioning the "speedy" delivery of Burgess Optical products. I feel as if we are waiting for the Hale Observatory to be delivered. It is really a great thing that AstroMart (Herb) allows for the open and free echange of ideas and opinions unlike other moderators. In the long run, the "selective control" of information will not serve that site well.

I second that. One of my messages about the initial problems of the 1278 was never posted. I ordered one in February and canceled in October.

You guys are lucky you didn't order a scope from AP.

Consider this little thought: the patience required to wait for a scope is arrive is small in relation to the patience required to do quality observations.

Personally I am still waiting for the scope and would rather have a good scope that arrives late that crummy scope that came on time.

You own choice may vary in this regard.
