would a Mewlon 300 work well on a CGE-Pro mount (used primarily for planetary imaging).

Looks like Herb and Roland never tried it, otherwise here answeres would be diffrent.

The Mewlon 300 looks big, its big, but its compact. I use it at bhighest power on a Tak NJP Mount where its loadet rock solid, more solid then you need. The CGE-Pro Mount will hold the Mewlon 300 very well, even for imaging.
