Although much bigger than the Pronto ;-), you'll like the much larger aperture and very wide flat field of the TV-101.

I think the mount would be more than adequate for the task.
I have owned the SVP and used it with a TV85. It will do you a fine job. I think it is more solid than my Vixen GP that I currently use with my ED103. TeleVue makes a dovetail adapter plate that fits the TV tube ring and will work with the SVP or Vixen type mounts...wish I was getting a 101 : ( Clear Skies, Dave
