M68 FOCUSER end of story

Hi everybody,

I have posted a thread last month about the focuser of my APQ100/1000. The focus was very hard to make. First I tought that was a lubricant problem...but the only help I get from the Amart's Zeiss community was just the right answer. It's just one of three screws that are using to center the moving part of the focuser inside the optical tube (see pictures attached) that was not fermly screwed. Now it's a real joy to use this focuser and I must say that I find it a lot more better than the TMB focuser used in the CNC version of my 152/1200 APO even at very high powers. Just a simple allen screws gives me so many unconfortable nights of observations. Somethimes I just leave the APQ at home in his box while making a trip to a dark site just because of this focuser.

PS : Special thanks to KIM COLTER for his big help AND of course thanks to ZEISS forum...We have to keep it ALIVE it's a big source of informations for all of us.

Clear Skies
