this is 20 images combined in Maxim DL and cropped in Paint Shop Pro. this is a total of 8 minutes of exposure (2 60 sec and 18 20 sec exposures) I did try the short long exposure technique and it didnt add much to the image detail. this is just straight stacking of all the images. The added 20 sec exposures helped a lot with the smaller darker background stars.
