Description

It was clear and COLD after my astronomy club meeting. being humid as well made it very frosty. I received the field flattener for my ES80 APO. I used the Celestron Nightscape camera for this image. This is 30 X 60 sec. unguided for 30 minutes total. Celestron AstroFX software calibrates and stacks the subs automatically. I then used PSP9 to adjust it further. After aligning the mount I looked at M42 in the eyepiece I use for aligning, ( 12.5mm illuminated cross-hare ) and could see nebulosity. granted it had no color. but to see it in an 80MM scope was nice.
