Orion rising in the east with illumination by a first quarter moon. Canon Digital Rebel at F/4, ISO800, with lens at 18mm. 30 second exposure on Dec. 28, 2006, just before 9:00 pm. Pine Flat, CA (in the Sequoias southeast of Porterville).
