NGC 6979, Pickerings Triangle, part of the Veil supernova remnant in Cygnus. Imaged with the TOA130 and ST2000xm with Astrodon filters. Data captured over 8 nights (August 13,15,16,17,18,19,20,21, 2008) from Redlands, Ca. 15.3 hours of total data was captured--9.3 hours of Ha unbinned and 6 total hours of SII and OIII (3 hours each binned). The image below has OIII mapped to red, Ha mapped to green, and SII mapped to blue with Ha has a luminance layer (HA)OIIIHaSII.
