This auction is for a late 1998 Takahashi large, aluminum thread-on dust cap.
These silver satin-style pieces are generally seen covering your Takahashi focuser housings (especially on the FS-Qs) and on their reducer lens assemblies. This one here would be seen on their 4-inch class focusers and large reducer units.

* Inner thread size is M92 (91.9mm)
Made of solid milled aluminum
Weighs exactly 3.0 ounces
Male threads are perfect. Cosmetics are definitely excellent; very excellent for its age. One faint hairline scratch on a portion of the top, but no other marks to worry about.
