Here you bidding on a old Carl Zeiss Jena Telescope, build in a mechanical quality as you cannot find anylonger in any commercial made telescope today and maybe not even in any todays custommade telescope. The optical system is a Maksutov Cassegrain System with 40% Cetral Obstruction ( seems large, but after you looked through the scope and see how how sharp this is, you would never believe such big central obstruction). The Optics of this 150 mm Maksutov are known by all Zeiss Jena Fans to be one of the best, maybe even the very best , ever made in any Zeiss Jena Telescope. The mechanics are such rock solid build, that even today after tens of years of use the collimation is dead on. The focusing is made by a mirror focusing with zero. zero image shift and working ultrasmooth. Connections to diagonals, turrets or eyepieces are beeing made by a Zeiss Quick Exchange bajonet with a rear zeiss M44 x 1 thread. The attached finder is a Zeiss 7 x 42. The Telescope comes in its original woodbox. The Telescope comes with a front cover and a Zeiss Off-Axis-Solarfilter with 63 mm diameter.
The Telescope is sitting on its original Zeiss I-B Mount with all counterweights, slow motion controle in both axis and 220 V/50Hz Synchronus Motor in RA-Axis. The Mount is sitting on the heavy duty Zeiss pedestal. We have some accessories we can can separatly for this telescope, like Huygens and Ortho eyepieces, diagonal prisms M44 , mirror and errect image turrets. The condition and shape of the scope: There are no mechanical damages from my carefully inspection, all works perfect and smooth. The paint job on the scope, mount and Pedestal looks impressive good to me for such a old telescope. I did not weight the total set up , but its in any case above 100 kg.
For shipping we have to make at least for the pedestal a strong woodbox

This telescope works due its super quality to the diffraction limited under good guys and splitt douple stars as you maybe never saw before and show planetary details as you may not think, such a small size ever could show you.

Now let me wish you good luck on bidding on this dream Telescope, which is not only a outstanding collecting telescope, but also a super high quality performer under real sky

shipping and possible importduties must be paid by the winner of this auction.
