Date code = UN1201. This was the first year this lens was mfg'd.
Front glass has small marks in lens coating (no scratches in the glass)and no way effect picture quality. They can only be seen with a lopue & not the naked eye!
I just wanted to mention that up front
Always stored in protective case & well taken care of. This is a classic
lens back when Canon QC was at it's best!
Overall condition 9 out of 10. Would be 9.5 if not for the front coatings!
