Canon 10D modified by replacing the stock sensor filter with a Baader 245 9211. The Baader filter passes significantly more of the Hydrogen-alpha wavelength critical to photographing emission nebula. See the attached photos showing a the Horsehead nebula taken with the modified filter and with a stock camera. The camera may also be used for "normal" snapshots by using a custom white balance procedure detailed in the carmera's manual.
