I have for sale a lightly used QHY 168C color camera that is in great shape. I used this with an AT 102ED refractor telescope and it does a good job. I have spent most of my astrophotography time with filters and decided a couple of years ago to start using color cameras and this was my first. I have upgraded to another color camera and no longer need this. Some light scuffing on the metal under the angle rotator. No effect on the camera.I adjusted the ad specs for the camera about cooling to show reality for the cooler. I have attached one image of the Pelican. Drivers are readily available on the QHY site.

QHY Key Features list:

  • QHY168C cooled 16-Megapixel color astronomy camera with 14-bit ADC, ideal for serious deep-sky imaging

  • Sony IMX071 APS-C CMOS sensor with big 4.8um pixels in a 4952x3288 array produces true RAW-format images

  • Two-stage cooling keeps sensor temperature as much as 30C below ambient for low-noise imaging, even in warm conditions

  • Advanced AR coatings on sensor and camera window to greatly reduce halo around bright stars

  • 128MB DDRII data buffer to minimize data dropouts during image transfer

  • Reduced amp-glow for superior imaging of faint objects

The unit comes with a 12VDC 3 amp power supply.

The unit comes with a carrying case if you want it, but if you just want the camera in a regular shipping box it will reduce the price by $24.

Shipping to CONUS only.
