*** I've lowered the price ***
I have an excellent working SBIG U814 Aluma camera purchased new in 2019. I am the original owner. The U814 comes with an 8-position, self-guiding filter wheel for 36mm filters, all originally supplied parts, software on a USB thumb drive, OEM case, and power supply.
The Aluma U814 uses a 9 megapixel SONY ICX-814 CCD sensor. This sensor has 3388 x 2712 pixels at 3.69 microns square producing a 12.48 mm x 8.98 mm chip size.
It has an even illumination mechanical shutter that facilitates accurate dark/bias calibration frames. The U814 uses two-stage cooling with twin variable-speed fans and heat sink to achieve a cooling deta-T up to 45 degrees C.
All equipment has been carefully used and kept in a cool, dry place in my home in the original carrying case when not in use. I've included photos of the equipment and the Elephant Trunk nebula taken with this camera.
This camera new sold for over $5,000.00 and I am asking $1,400.00. Buyer pays actual shipping in the CONUS and the purchase price includes PayPal fees.
To calculate an estimated shipping cost, use a 30x24x16 box at approx. 23 lbs from zip code 34433.
