6 megapixel DSLR. Originally purchased from OPT in May 2004. Works great. Comes with original packaging and all accessories as noted below:
Original items:
Body cap, eypeice cap, camera strap, rechargeable EL-EN3 lithium-ion battery, battery charger, holder for CR2 batteries, Instruction book, Quick Start Guide, USB cable,video cable, and original packaging (box).
Replaced or extra items:
1) a second EL-EL3 battery
2) replaced the clear plastic LCD monitor cover with a Hoodman sheilded cover for better visibility in daylight
3) replaced the 16 MB compact flash card with a 160 MB card
The camera uses compact flash memory cards. I have larger capacity compact flash cards available as follows:
1GB = $30
512MB = $20
256MB = $15
192MB = $10
With the right software, you can also save images to a computer hard disk.
The camera has a variety of exposure focusing, bracketing and white balance modes. Shutter speeds from 1/8000 to 30 seconds (longer exposures possible with optional IR remote). ISO settings from 200 to 1600. A versatile and all around good performer.
