40mm Tele Vue Widefield, Cheap!

This eyepiece has a bit of “history”. It has suffered a fall, resulting in dented filter threads and 3 or 4 small nicks in the eyelens. The filter threads have been “fixed” by attaching a threaded filter housing which allows the use of 2" filters again. The eyelens nicks are pretty small, kid of like tiny permanent dust specs 1/3-2/3 out from center, but are not all that intrusive to the view. There is also some wearing of the chrome on the barrel (purely cosmetic).

This eyepiece isn’t pretty to look at, but the wide angle views with the 65-degree AFOV are very nice! The 2lb weight is simply too much for my scope, otherwise I wouldn’t be selling. Asking only $125, about $100 less than typical used market value. CONUS shipping included.
