I have a Mathis MI-500 mount for sale.
Mathis is professional in making heavy-load, observatory grade mounts. This MI-500 is a GEM mount, and the one I have has the AP GTO options, with AP CP3 and keypad plus motors(a $2820 option). Plus, it uses AP's 1.875'' CW (CWs are not included in this sale). What's also included is a short metal pier, or a base that the RA parts sits on.
Mathis rated is as 250lb. "Suitable for telescopes such as the Celestron 14, Meade 14 & 16, PlaneWave CDK17 & CDK20, Newtonians and Cassegrains 14, 16, & 20 inch"
The CW stop has a little plastic piece missing, but it still threads into the CW bar well and does the job without issues.
I am 2nd owner. 1st owner has it mounted in his Dome. It's a little large form my Skyshed in my back yard. So it just sits in my garage. It is in great condition.
Asking for $7350. Local pickup is welcome and preferred, so you can come and see/check. The mount is in San Jose, CA, while I am a little outside Bay Area due to COVID-19. We can make an appointment on weekends.
Shipping is possible at buyer's expenses.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
