EDIT - The Newtonian base mounts with four screws in a 2.75" square pattern (measured center to center).
I ordered this JMI EV1-N Dual-Speed Event Horizon Focuser with the Newtonian Base new from Farpoint to be a part of a project scope I had planned. I've come to the realization I'll never complete the project and thought someone might enjoy a nice EV1-N. It is a very robust focuser that can handle 1 1/4" or 2" eyepieces and the 1 1/4" to 2" adapter has 42mm threads to attach a camera or whatever. It has the standard 2" long draw tube with .565" of travel. It's very smooth and can handle heavy eyepieces at any angle without slipping. It's been setting in the box; only removed to inspect. This focuser currently sells for $499.00. I'll take $250.00 and I'll cover PayPal fees, CONUS shipping, and insurance.
