This is a 3D printed low profile focuser intended for newtonian telescopes with a flat mounting base. I can also 3D print a curved radius block to fit your specific tube as well for an extra $5. This was a perfect upgrade for a Coulter dobsonian I had as it used a very poor helical 1.25" focuser and required a VERY low profile focuser, which I couldn't find for under several hundred dollars. This was a focuser design that was available online but I found a lot of issues with tolerances and how the part was designed and also the bill of materials was very costly to find, so I optimized it to get everything working with parts readily available and to get the cost down and redesigned a lot of the parts from the ground up to just be "nicer"

This is printed with Carbon Fiber PETG so it is strong, heat and UV resistant and will last. Most of the structural parts are metal from CNC cut aluminum metal plates for the Crayford bearing, the top 4 metal bearings have aluminum strips as well. Lots of stainless connectors, springs with a nylon pusher block on the crayford shaft to be able to adjust the tension of the focuser. I tested this with a heavy ES 30mm 82* eyepiece and this was able to focus the eypiece completely upside down in or out without slipping with the tension of the springs included. This has a nice 2" brass tension ring so it won't mark your eyepieces. The focuser is 38mm tall, 110mm square and 10.3oz. The drawtube travel is 30mm. Hole spacing is about 100mm center to center on both sides and the holes are designed for #8 sized screws. Feel free to message with any other questions.
