Collector-Grade Early Feather Touch Focuser, Mint never used
For sale is an original Feather Touch focuser, likely from before 2000, manufactured by the original Starlight Instruments. This is a rare gold-anodized version, never used, and in collector-grade condition. I cannot find any flaws and it is in like new condition and is smooth as silk.
The early models did not include a compression ring or brake but features soft-tipped thumb screws and comes with a flat mounting base, ideal for Dobs. If you need a curved base, please let me know and I might be able to help you. The inside back end of the focuser has been blackened with flocking paper. Like all Feather Touch units, it’s built with the mechanical precision that made Starlight’s reputation.
